- Developed acquisition and retention strategy and executed all direct marketing campaigns to meet audience goals for print magazine, site traffic, event registrations, research products, web training and other products, using direct mail, e-mail, inserts, telemarketing and banner ads. Acquired over 100,000 qualified leads per year.
- Managed budget for three departments totaling $10M in expense, 4M in revenue.
- Project manager for event marketing, registration and audience qualification websites. Wrote and edited content pages for event marketing website. Worked with web hosting company to plan, design and test front end, set up attendee database, report development and administration site for registration. Successfully registered 400+ attendees for two conferences using the system.
- Launched and developed InfoWorld's e-mail newsletter program that grew to 30 newsletters with over 400,000 unique subscribers.
- Developed and executed with Corporate List Manager the strategy for increasing list rental revenue each year. Launched InfoWorld's e-mail list rental program. Handled creative development for list rental promotions. Managed internal list rentals. During my tenure the list revenue increased 1000%.
- Served as the department representative to the second level management group for over 5 years. As a member of that group was a major influence on company policies such as budget strategy, bonus/award programs, disaster planning, communication policies and technology deployment. Also served as a member of the Idea Factory, a new product idea generation and new business development group. From this group, at least 3 revenue generating businesses were launched.
